Attachment 1. Methodology

Here is how the questionnaire works. It has 28 questions, seven for each of four styles. Every question offers four answers that run from faint to strong on one style, and all four hand the remaining styles an identical small credit. The styles are added up separately, and the largest total goes on your certificate. The others still show as bars.

The styles come from a research tradition on everyday temperament. They cover how a person handles change, rules, argument, and other people, and no one fits a single style.

Treat the science with care. Mainstream personality research does not put this framework on a par with long-standing models, and few outside groups have tested it so far. A far larger study by a separate team with no tie to the authors backed the main findings, yet showed the styles lean on traits those models already cover, a point the authors play down. Nearly all other evidence came from the authors themselves, including a pair of modest scanner studies behind their claim that each style has its own biological system. That claim is correlational, and nothing about your own biology is tested here. No reliable counts exist of how often each style turns up, so nothing here ranks you against the crowd.

For the broader idea, see how psychologists define temperament. The certificate is about your own profile. This is no diagnostic tool.

Attachment 2. Frequently Asked Questions

Which four personality types does this framework describe?

Explorer, Builder, Director, and Negotiator. Explorers go for novelty and make quick calls. Builders favor plans, rules, and keeping their word. Directors favor logic and plain speech. Negotiators sense moods, spot links between things, and seek common ground. Everyone scores on every type, and you receive the one that ranks first for you.

Is this personality test accurate?

Results mirror how you describe yourself, so they are only as sound as your answers. Nobody else observed you, and a rushed or flattering reply moves the outcome. Answer candidly, one question at a time, and the profile will be a fair sketch of your habits.

Is the science behind this personality test real?

Published papers on it do exist. But it sits outside the mainstream of personality research, which leans on other frameworks. The framework's creators did most of the work, and one outside group has checked it so far. Think of it as a reasonable way to describe yourself, not an established measurement.

Which personality type is the most common, and which is the rarest?

No one knows. Figures you may find online disagree with each other and name no source, so we do not repeat them. Your result tells you which of your own four scores is highest, nothing about how you compare to the crowd.

Which personality type is compatible with which?

The certificate makes no pairing claims. It speaks only about you, passes no judgment on any relationship, and names no ideal match. Whether you are single, attached, or neither does not matter here. Use the result to understand yourself, not to size up other people.
